BPH Migas Appreciates The Performance Of Business Entities That Can Maintain Fuel Availability During Ramadan And Eid 2024

JAKARTA - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) appreciates the performance of the assignment business entity, which has maintained fuel supply and availability during the Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr (RAFI) 2024 period or the period 3-19 April 2024.

"Including, at the Marketing Operation Region (MOR) II of Southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, so that it can guarantee the availability of distribution of fuel, LPG, and Avtur for people returning home," said Member of the BPH Migas Committee Basuki Trikora Putra at the Aircraft Filling Depot (DPPU) Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang, South Sumatra, quoted from Antara, Friday 19 April.

Basuki or familiarly called Tiko, said that the 2024 RaFI National Command Post for the Energy and Mineral Resources Sector (ESDM) had been running well from April 3 to April 19, 2024.

"BPH Migas together with all relevant stakeholders, continue to monitor the availability of energy and report it to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources in the form of daily reports until the post is closed. We see two important things related to fuel, the first in terms of good stock availability, distribution is running well, and consumers are served adequately. Second, the projection and realization of fuel quotas, especially in the South Sumatra region is also good," he said.

According to him, the government also ensures that additional services provided by the assignment business entity can ensure the smoothness and comfort of the community during the homecoming and backflow of Lebaran 2024.

"The additional services are in the form of motorists, standby bases, tank cars as gas stations, and modular gas stations," he said.

On the same occasion, Expert Staff of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources for Governance Hilir Migas Mulyono also appreciated the performance of this year's RAFI Command Post.

He asked the assignment business entity to mitigate the effectiveness of the delivery of fuel at the DPPU Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang.

"I observe that the 2024 RAFI Task Force is the best preparation," he said.

Meanwhile, Executive General Manager of MOR II Pertamina Patra Niaga Zibali Hisbul Still explained that Pertamina Patra Niaga as an assignment business entity continues to support the availability of fuel for smooth homecoming and return flow of Eid.

"If Ramadan is still ongoing, we have provided at least 10 modular gas stations both on toll roads and non-toll roads, 16 tank cars as gas station bags, up to 18 motorists who are actively serving travelers in getting fuel," he said. Gas station monitoring

Tiko and Mulyono also visited gas stations on the busy route for travelers at Rest Area KM 311 A Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatra.

From the results of the visit, it was recorded that the special type of fuel assignment (JBKP) or Pertalite during the RAFI 2024 period experienced a three-fold increase compared to normal time.

At the gas station, he stated that the fuel stock was maintained and the process of supplying fuel was still safe.

"With good distribution operations like this, we ask that it be maintained properly, so that the fuel quota that we have provided can be accounted for," said Tiko.
