RADWIMPS Announces Toaka As A Special Guest On Asian Tours, Including Indonesia
JAKARTA - Ahead of their tours in several countries, RADWIMPS proudly announced that Toaka would join them. Toaka will be the main guest on their upcoming Asian tour, namely the RADWIMPS WORLD TOUR 2024 tour "The way you ywn, and the outcry of Peace".
The RADWIMPS Tour series will begin in Chengdu on April 21. They will appear in Jakarta on May 19, 2024 at the Beach City International Stadium Jakarta.
Toaka, who has gained attention in cyberspace, had a major breakthrough when she had the opportunity to audition to become the guest vocalist in a song composed by RADWIMPS for the film. He managed to get it, and contributed an appearance that highlighted the skill and high tone of his voice in the film's main song.
Singers of Toaka's songs plunged into the world of music like most children their age. The 21-year-old creator first attracted attention on TikTok, through covers of other songs and finally the original song, which led to the appearance of a big label and its contribution to "Suzume".
This singer has just released her first mini album under the big label (Universal Music Worldwide), Boku Dakeno Ai, which shows the reach of her art and personality. Her first collection of songs reveals an eclectic approach to music.

The song 'Discord-dasco' played fast featuring the scary side of Toaka, while the song 'Cinder ella' played with the tempo of the dance rhythm. Meanwhile, Boku dakega Ai, puts Toaka with a simpler background, featuring the dynamics of her voice. The lyrics balance between the longing of youth and a darker twist.
Formed in 2001, the Japanese band consisting of 4 personnel, RADWIMPS, debuted on a large record label in 2005. Soon after, they put together a wide fan base, with the younger generation at its core.
So far, the band has released nine studio albums. The band's music creation is for Shinkai's animated films that broke previous records, "Your Name" and "Weathering with You", resulting in an award at the Japanese Academy Award for Best Original Score.
Recently, RADWIMPS also collaborated with a very well-known film music composer, Kazuma Jinnouchi, to create the soundtrack and perfect music score for the latest award-winning director film, Makoto Shinkai, entitled Suzume, which grossed more than 300 million US dollars at the global box office. RADWIMPS and Kazuma Jinnouchi's soundtrack also recently received the "Best Music" award at the Japan Academy Award 46th.
