Densus 88 Arrest Again One Member Of Jamaah Islamiyah In Central Sulawesi
JAKARTA - The National Police's Anti-terror Detachment 88 has again arrested one terrorist suspect in the Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) region. So, currently eight members of Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) have been arrested in connection with terrorism.
"It's true (one more was arrested). So all 8," said Densus 88 Anti-terror Police Spokesperson Kombes Aswin Siregar to reporters, Friday, April 19.
However, the identity of the terrorism suspect was not disclosed. Including, seven people were arrested previously.
The reason is that Densus 88 Anti-terror investigators have developed the arrests of the eight terrorism suspects.
"It can't be answered right now, for the ongoing development and investigation," said Aswin.
Previously, Central Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Agus Nugroho said the seven terrorist suspects arrested were residents of Palu, Sigi, and Poso.
"From information we received the seven people, four of them are residents of Palu City, two are residents of Sigi Regency and one is a resident of Poso Regency," said Agus.

Information was received that the first two houses that were searched were located on Lagarutu Street, Talise Valangguni Village, Palu City, then a number of evidences were confiscated from the two houses, including laptops and cell phones.
