Yars Rising Will Be Released On Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, And Nintendo Switch This Year

JAKARTA - Publisher Atari, in the 2024 Nintendo Indie World Showcase live broadcast announced that they will release Yars Rising for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch this year.

"In the hands of an experienced Way Forward (developer), the Yars franchise is a big mystery that is solved through 2D platforming action," the publisher wrote in his announcement.

Developed by WayForward, the game will see you as a young hacker named Emi Kimura, who was hired by a mysterious shield to infiltrate the shadow company QoTech.

In its mission, Emi had to jump, blow, and sneak past the waves of enemies of robots and aliens. With its hidden power to be revealed as the game goes on, this game will be very interesting.

While not exhibited in the trailer, the game caption says that there will be nine different cars to control, including muscle cars and sports cars, with customizable colors and stickers.

Later, each car will be able to be adjusted to a different color and an Atari-themed sticker.
