Heru Budi Hands Over Payment For Ciliwung Normalization Land Acquisition To BPN
JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono ensures that the normalization process of the Ciliwung River continues. The DKI Provincial Government is tasked with acquiring residential areas along the riverbanks.
Now, Heru has handed over the budget for land acquisition for residents allocated in 2023 to the DKI Jakarta National Land Agency (BPN). According to Heru, the nominal amount of payment for land acquisition is determined by BPN.
"Payment, now it's in BPN. The administration has been completed. It's just a matter of BPN stating whether it belongs to A, B. If it's legal, then pay," said Heru at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Thursday, April 18.
In submitting the Accountability Statement Report (LKPJ) of the Governor of DKI Jakarta in 2023, Heru revealed that river normalization and restoration had been carried out for 7 kilometers.
Then, the current increase in water storage capacity has a volume of 269,355 m3.
"The 7 kilometers of normalization are in two areas. East Jakarta is there, South Jakarta is there," said Heru.
In the budget implementation document (DPA) in 2023, the budget allocation for river normalization land acquisition was disbursed for IDR 496 billion. After land acquisition is carried out, the government will build a heetpile with a river route length of 4.3 kilometers.

Meanwhile, in 2024, the DKI Provincial Government plans to continue land acquisition for 3.2 kilometers of Ciliwung Normalization. The details are Manggarai Village with 1.5 kilometers, Kebon Manggis Village with 1.2 kilometers, and Bukit Duri Village with 0.5 kilometers.
