2024 Homecomers In East Java Rise, Reach 31.2 Million People
SURABAYA - The number of travelers in East Java Province (East Java) reached 31.2 million people during the homecoming period and the return flow of Lebaran 2024. Acting Governor of East Java, Adhy Karyono said this figure had increased 16.2% when compared to last year.
"Everything can be resolved. There is no problem with the soaring need and the peak is how we control the flow of homecoming and backflow even though the increase is 16.2% or 31.2 million people going home," said Adhy Karyono, Wednesday, April 17.
Furthermore, Adhy Karyono added that in the past 10 days there have been no reports of crucial problems. He made sure everything was under control, safe, and smooth.
