BRI Records Wealth Management Management Grows 21 Percent In The First Quarter Of 2024

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI noted that BRI's wealth management increased by 21 percent year-on-year (yoy) as of the first quarter of 2024.

According to the company, this achievement shows the expansion and diversification of a sustainable customer portfolio. In addition, in terms of profitability, BRI's Wealth Management business recorded a fee-based income (FBI) from bancassurance which increased by 34 percent yoy and the FBI from investment increased by more than 200 percent yoy.

"BRI continues to accelerate BRI's Wealth Management business performance. The strategy is carried out by strengthening education related to the importance of financial management to all levels of society," said BRI's Director of Consumer Business Handayani in a written statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, April 17.

Handayani emphasized that BRI's Wealth Management is dedicated to providing comprehensive financial solutions and personalized services to Prima customers (BRI Private and BRI Priority). BRI has a mission to help Prima customers explore the complexity of the financial landscape and achieve their long-term financial goals.

So far, explained Handayani, BRI has also provided assistance by experienced financial advisors who always ensure product offerings according to customer risk profiles.

In addition, BRI's Wealth Management is also supported by the BRI Group ecosystem consisting of trusted insurance companies, securities, and investment managers.

BRI noted that the number of Prima Wealth Management BRI customers jumped to around 148 thousand. This, according to the company, shows the trust and belief placed in BRI's premium services.

In addition, BRI also noted a 60 percent yoy surge in BRI's new investor registration. This also indicates increased interest and trust in BRI Priority investment offers.

The closure of the new insurance policy at BRI has increased by 65 percent yoy. This achievement, the company noted, emphasized BRI's commitment to providing comprehensive protection solutions according to customer needs.

Handayani said that BRI is optimistic that the Wealth Management business will be able to grow and have good prospects. One of the supporting factors that can be seen, namely the emergence of awareness of customers at this time to protect themselves, their families, and assets.
