Deputy Mayor Imam Budi Is Back In The 2024 Depok Pilwalkot

DPP PKS appointed Imam Budi Hartono as a candidate for mayor of Depok in the Depok Regional Election which was held on November 27, 2024.

"I have received the PKS DPP decree. So I was mandated to run in the 2024 Pilkada," said Imam Budi Hartono as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 17.

Imam Budi Hartono currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Depok as well as Chairman of the Depok City PKS DPD. Imam Budi Hartono admitted that he was ready to run in the 2024 Depok Pilkada because it had been mandated by PKS.

In addition, said Imam Budi Hartono, Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council, Habib Salim Segaf Al Jufri, had approved and prayed to become Mayor of Depok for the period 2025-2030.

"Alhamdulillah, he prays for me to be successful as mayor of Depok," said Imam Budi Hartono.

Then the administrators of the Depok City PKS DPD have also stated that they are ready and solid in supporting themselves to run in the 2024 Depok Pilkada. Including Mohammad Idris, the Mayor of Depok who was promoted by PKS for three terms.

"The Mayor (Mohammad Idris) stated that he PKS and his wife were candidates for legislative members elected in the West Java Provincial DPRD from PKS," said Imam Budi Hartono.

Meanwhile, the General Secretary (Sekum) of the Depok City PKS DPD Hermanto said that the administrators of the Depok City PKS DPD, solid members, supported the nomination of Imam Budi Hartono in the Depok Regional Election.

In addition, the results of the electability survey of Imam Budi Hartono are very good ahead of the 2024 Depok Pilkada.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful that the electability survey of Depok mayor candidates has provided excellent results for the candidates for mayor of Depok 2025-2030 from PKS, namely Imam Budi Hartono," he said.
