Pertamina International Refinery Processes 850,000 Crude Oil Barrels Per Day During Eid Holidays

PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) reported, during the Eid holiday period, processing crude oil around 850 thousand barrels per day according to the set target.

KPI Corporate Secretary Hermansyah Y Nasroen said, during this period, all KPI-run refineries operated normally and safely, and produced according to the set target.

Herman said, during the period from April 1 to 15, during the long Eid al-Fitr holiday, KPI could meet more than 100 percent of the fuel production target. In gasoil series products achieved 100.68 percent while gasoline series production was achieved at 101.82 percent and for avtur products, KPI can produce 110 percent of the target.

"During the long Eid Al-Fitr 2024 holiday, refinery operations run safely and smoothly. Alhamdulillah, all refineries produce according to the set target. This can of course be achieved thanks to the support of the RAFI task force team and the support of front liner workers who continue to work according to the specified division of tasks," said Herman, Wednesday, April 13.

Herman added, even though the long Eid al-Fitr holiday had ended, the KPI Ramadan Eid Task Force (RAFI) 2024 KPI was still on duty until April 21, 2024.

"Arrangement of workers who still have to enter during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period is one of the keys to ensuring the refinery continues to operate. The workers involved are of course aware of their role in ensuring that the refinery continues to operate, even though it is during holidays such as Eid al-Fitr," explained Hermansyah.

Hermansyah also said that all units also performed Eid prayers together which were held in the refinery office area. Prayer activities are not only attended by workers and families, but also the community around the refinery operational area.

"This Eid prayer activity is also a means of friendship between companies and communities around refinery operations," said Hermansyah.

Moral support was also given directly by the unit management team to all front liner workers. This can be seen from the visit of the management team to the refinery to greet and encourage the workers on duty. This visit was carried out after the Eid prayer activity.

"A safe and smooth operation during this long holiday can of course be achieved thanks to the prayers and support of stakeholders. We thank you for the support given to KPI," concluded Hermansyah.
