Inspection At The Mental Hospital, PJ Governor Of East Kalimantan Akmal Malik Asks For A Room To Wait For Drugs Using AC And TV

JAKARTA - After conducting an inspection at the AWS Samarinda Hospital, Samsat on Jalan M Yamin and Samsat Alaya, the Acting Governor of East Kalimantan Akmal Malik also monitored services at the Atma Husada Mahakam Regional Mental Hospital (RSJD AHM) Samarinda.

Sidak starts from the patient registration area, the doctor's consultation room, to the waiting room for taking drugs.

While in the doctor's consultation room, Acting Governor Akmal Malik also had a chance to talk with the doctor on duty. The Acting Governor asked the most complaints from patients at this mental hospital.

"What are the most complaints here?" asked Akmal, Tuesday, April 16.

The psychiatrist in charge of answering the most complaints is hard or unable to sleep.

"Maybe because too many online loans," joked Akmal.

Criticism was conveyed by Akmal Malik while in the waiting room for taking medicine. Akmal also had time to talk with several patients or patient companions who were waiting for a drug call.

"I've only been uncomfortable for a while. This hospital must be comfortable. Let it feel like an hour and a half if it's comfortable, it's definitely not felt. There needs to be air conditioning, there's a TV. While watching soap operas, waiting for 1.5 hours will definitely not be felt. I ask for this to be corrected," he ordered.

The Director General of Regional Autonomy of the Ministry of Home Affairs requested that RSJD Atma Husada not only act as a hospital, but also cultivate hospitality, hospitality and comfort principles.

Director of RSJD Atma Husada Mahakam Indah Puspita Sari said that the comfort of this mental hospital will be greatly disturbed by the tunnel that will connect Jalan Kakap with Jalan Sultan Alimuddin.

"The patient needs to rest. If there is a tunnel, it will definitely be disturbed," complained Indah Puspita Sari.

Currently they have proposed a new location for RSJD Atma Husada Mahakam around the Kapih River. It is about 10 hectares wide.

The new place will be much wider and will be made more comfortable for patients. Development will be carried out in stages until 2030.

"If it can be finished sooner, it's better for Mr. Acting," hoped Indah.

During the inspection this morning, Acting Governor Akmal Malik was accompanied by Regional Secretary Sri Wahyuni, Assistant General Administration Riza Indra Riadi, Head of East Kalimantan BKD Deni Sutrisno, Inspector of East Kalimantan Inspectorate Irfan Prananta and Head of Organizational Bureau Iwan Setiawan.
