Consumption Of Fuel Peak Flow Of Lebaran Homecoming In Central Java And DIY Reaches 21,533 KL, Up 68 Percent
Pertamina Patra Niaga Region Central Java noted that the consumption of Gasoline type fuel in Central Java and DIY was the highest at the peak of the H-1 Eid homecoming flow or on April 9, 2024, amounting to 21,533 Kiloliters (KL) per day.
Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Region Central Java, Brasto Galih Nugroho said, the consumption rate is 68 percent higher than the average daily normal consumption in Central Java and DIY, which is 12,824 KL per day.
Meanwhile, the peak consumption of Gasoline on the return flow of Eid on D-3 Eid or April 13, 2024, is 18,955 KL per day.
"The increase in consumption when the peak of homecoming flow on toll roads occurs in D-2 Eid (8/4) and in Central Java and DIY areas, the peak of consumption in H-1 (9/4) then at the peak of backflow, the peak consumption in Central Java and DIY occurs in D+3 (13/4) but the peak consumption in toll roads occurs on the Trans Java toll road in H+4 (14/4)", Brasto said in a statement to the media, Tuesday, April 16.
In contrast to the gasoline fuel consumption trend for homecoming and return flow, the aviation consumption trend for flights at airports in Central Java and DIY occurred on D-5 Lebaran April 5 up to +120 percent from the daily consumption average and for backflow occurred on D+5 Eid on April 15 which rose to +48 percent with the largest consumption at Yogyakarta International Airport, Kulonprogo.

As for the period of Eid homecoming and backflow in 2024, additional services for filling fuel while on toll roads using motorists, Brasto revealed that the distribution of consumers served by Pertamina Patra Niaga Region Central Java is 52 consumers.
"8 out of 52 consumers who take advantage of our motorist service are at the tourist route point, the rest are dominated by the rest area around the Java trans-toll road which is dominated by the purchase of Pertamax in the KM 456A Salatiga rest area," explained Brasto.
