STY Announces Indonesia U-23 Final Squad For The 2024 U-23 Asian Cup
JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian U-23 national team, Shin Tae-yong (STY), has appointed his team's final squad consisting of 23 players to fight in the U-23 Asian Cup, this week.
The Garuda Muda team received additional strength by joining Nathan Tjoe-A-On, so that Kakang Rudianto (Persib Bandung) and Muhammad Dzaky Asraf (PSM Makassar) had to be sent home due to tournament regulations and technical considerations.
The U-23 national team manager, Endri Erawan, expressed his gratitude to League 1 clubs and abroad players for releasing their players to the Indonesian U-23 team. He also thanked the players who had participated in the training camp in Dubai and Doha.
"We thank all League 1 clubs and abroad players who have released their players to the Indonesian U-23 team," said Endri.

The U-23 Indonesian national team has been conducting training camps in Dubai, United Arab Emirates since early April, as well as playing two test matches against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
"According to tournament regulations, we can only register 23 players. God willing, Indonesia will achieve the best achievements in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup," he added.
Indonesia is in Group A with Qatar, Jordan and Australia. They will start the match against Qatar on Monday (15/4), then fight Australia on Thursday (18/4), and face Jordan on Sunday (21/4) next.
