Considered Negligent, Making 7 Livesgliding, Rosalia Indah Bus Driver Becomes A Suspect
JAKARTA - The driver of the deadly Rosalia Indah Bus at KM 370 of the Semarang-Batang Toll Road, Thursday, April 11, which cost seven lives, has officially become a suspect.
"Based on the title of the case, examination of witnesses, and the results of the crime scene, sufficient evidence has been obtained to determine JW as a suspect," said Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Central Java Police, Kombes Sonny Irawan, Semarang, Friday, April 12.
The bus driver who had a single accident, he said, was charged with Article 310 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.
"The file is complete, detention has been carried out," he said, quoted from Antara.
Dirlantas Polda Central Java explained that the determination of JW as a suspect was due to his negligence which resulted in an accident that killed seven people.
"The driver admitted that he was tired so he was sleepy for a moment," he said.
As for the victims who died, he said, all of them had been returned to their families for burial.
"There are still three hospitalized, one of whom is seriously injured," he added.
Previously, Rosalia Indah Bus had an accident on KM 370 of the Semarang-Batang toll road, Thursday (11/4). Seven people died as a result of the bus traveling from west to east entering the ditch on the side of the toll road.
