Alexis Sanchez's Two Goals Continue Inter's Winning Streak
JAKARTA - Alexis Sanchez scored two goals as Inter Milan secured three points at home to Parma. The Nerazzurri won 2-1 in Matchday 25 of the Italian League at the Ennio Tardini Stadium, Friday, March 5.
Sanchez scored twice in the opening third of the second half to which Hernani replied for Parma, but Inter was able to keep the 2-1 lead until the end.
Inter, who have continued their winning streak to become six games in a row, are increasingly firmly on top of the standings with a collection of 59 points or six points ahead of city rivals AC Milan in second place.
Meanwhile, Parma (15), who has never tasted victory in the last 16 matches, did not move from 19th in the standings.
The first half passed with a zero score, although both teams were equally aggressive enough to launch attacks whenever they got the chance to control the ball.

One of Inter's best chances of the first half came in the 32nd minute when Milan Skriniar had a close-range shot countered by goalkeeper Luigi Sepe and Ivan Perisic's strike failed to get past Parma's defense.
The stalemate finally broke nine minutes into the second half when Sanchez was able to take advantage of Gaston Brugman's bad touch and immediately grabbed it with a powerful strike which, despite heading right at Sepe, was unable to stop the ball into the net.
Sanchez immediately doubled Inter's lead in the 62nd minute on a counter-attack that was ended by Romelu Lukaku's fine pass for the Chilean national team star's easy kick.
Parma, still struggling to avoid the threat of relegation, managed to narrow the gap to 1-2 in the 71st minute when Hernani stood free at the far post to complete German Pezzella's cross.
Inter's superiority was able to be maintained until the whistle sounded the match, giving positive capital ahead of entertaining Atalanta at the Giuseppe Meazza on Monday, March 8.
The day before, Parma would try to end their bad trend when they visited Fiorentina headquarters.
