Idulfitri Benzema's Sayings: May Allah Receive Our Charity All
JAKARTA - Former French national team player who is now defending Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, Karim Benzema also congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri on his social media account, on Wednesday, April 10.
Benzema, who is also a Muslim, uploaded a short video clip while congratulating Eid al-Fitr.
"Greetings, Eid al-Fitr to all of you, and may Allah accept all of our deeds," he said.
He speaks partly in French and partly in Arabic.
Benzema's words received a positive response from netizens. A follower named Nungua wrote: "Congratulations on my Eid al-Fitr. I love you".
"Yes, a very special day. Thank you. This means a lot to millions of people," wrote another Benzema follower Hsnain.
"Blessed, and thank you very much for the kind words," commented a user named Raisa, who also added an Idufitri image.
The Al-Ittihad striker post generated more than 80,000 likes, 7,800 retweets, and more than 1,600 replies.
