Minister Basuki Will Review IKN After Lebaran Ensures Infrastructure Work Completed According To Schedule
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono admitted that he plans to review infrastructure work in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) after the momentum of Eid al-Fitr 2024.This was revealed by him after performing id prayers with his wife and employees at the PUPR As-Salam Ministry Mosque, Jakarta, Wednesday morning, April 10."The president (Jokowi) plans after Lebaran to go there (IKN). I hope so before him," said Basuki.Basuki assessed that his review of IKN was not solely because President Jokowi wanted to go there. However, Basuki admitted that he wanted to ensure that IKN's work would still be completed on schedule."Not because of the president, but the progress (stage 1 infrastructure) in July must be done. So, my own schedule," he said.Furthermore, Basuki also hopes that he can immediately have an office in IKN. In fact, he said there was a desire to go to IKN with his wife."Hopefully next July can have an office there.
