Interesting Facts About The 2024 H-4 Eid Homecoming In A Series Of Figures
The Ministry of Transportation noted that users of air transportation were the highest of all modes of public transportation, on Saturday (6/4) or D-4 yesterday.
The Ministry of Transportation monitors the movement points of passengers and vehicles including: 111 terminals, 16 ferry ports, 51 airports, 110 seaports, 173 stations, 42 toll gates, and 20 arterial roads in and out of Jabodetabek which will be monitored at 9 points in 2023 to 11 points in 2024.
Here are the data:
1. The total number of public transport passengers on D-4 yesterday was 1,144,265 people. This figure increased by 20.49% when compared to 2023 in the same period of 949,675 people and an increase of 156.68% compared to daily normal movements.
2. Road transportation as many as 224.880 passengers. This number increased by 18.94% compared to last year's 189.073 passengers, and increased by 98.05 compared to daily normal movements.
3. Crossing transportation as many as 315,374 passengers. This number increased by 17.62% compared to last year's 268,124 passengers, and increased by 1,037.02% compared to daily normal movements.
4. Air transportation as many as 320,240 passengers. This number increased by 20.62% compared to the same period last year, which was 265,494 passengers, and increased 156.65% compared to the daily normal movement.
5. Sea transportation as many as 92,334 passengers. This number increased 19.81% compared to last year's 77,069 passengers, and rose 95.52% compared to daily normal movements.
6. Train transportation as many as 189,281 passengers. This number increased by 26.626% compared to last year's 149,915 passengers, and rose 42.85% compared to daily normal movements.

7. The number of cars leaving and entering Jabodetabek via the Jasamarga toll road was recorded as many as 789,132 and 3,945,660 vehicles. This figure increased by 213.51% compared to the daily normal period in 2024, while compared to 2023 there was a decrease of 26.76%, namely 1,077,488 vehicles and 5,387,440 people.

9. The number of cars entering Jabodetabek via Jasamarga toll road is 252,512 vehicles and 1,262,560 people. This number decreased by 44.21% compared to last year's 452,602 vehicles and 2,263,010 people, while when compared to the normal period, the number increased by 125.15%.
10. Meanwhile, the movement of people using cars out and in through arterial routes was 722,149 vehicles and 3,610,745 people. This number increased by 217.61% compared to the daily normal period in 2024, while compared to 2023 it decreased by 9.46%, which was 797,617 vehicles and 3,988,085 people.
11. The number of motorbikes leaving Jabodetabek is 546,449 vehicles and 1,092,898 people. This number has increased by 69.24% compared to the daily normal period in 2024, while when compared to 2023 it has increased by 6.32%, namely 513,986 vehicles and 1,027,972 people.
12. The number of motorbikes entering Jabodetabek is 448,800 vehicles and 897,600 people. This number has increased by 30.87% compared to the daily normal period in 2024, while when compared to 2023 it decreased by 1.62%, namely 456,182 vehicles and 912,364 people.
