Presenting 4 Ministers At The 2024 Election Dispute Session, The Constitutional Court Judge Can Appreciate
JAKARTA - The Constitutional Court Judge who has presented four ministers to provide information at the follow-up hearing of the dispute over the results of the general election (PHPU) or the 2024 election dispute received appreciation from the Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Lecturer of Constitutional Law Surakarta Agus Riewanto.
The four ministers who attended the Constitutional Court session were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.
"I appreciate the judges of the Constitutional Court who have made a new event law by daring to present the government," Agus quoted Antara as saying.
According to him, the summons of the four ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet was an effort to prove the arguments of the applicants for the Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud Md. who questioned the alleged election fraud through social assistance (bansos).
In addition, Agus said that the summons from the government to the Constitutional Court was a new procedural law that had never been carried out in the 2004 presidential election PHPU session, 2009, 2014, and the 2019 presidential election.
Agus assessed that the Constitutional Court dared to present the government to look for material evidence in order to answer the petitioners regarding the alleged jokes in the use of social assistance which had an impact on Prabowo-Gibran's victory.

The Constitutional Court has scheduled the summons of four ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet to be presented as the party that needs to be heard in a follow-up session of the 2024 Presidential Election PHPU on Friday (5/4).
In addition to the four ministers, the Constitutional Court also scheduled summons for the DKPP.
The Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Suhartoyo emphasized that the summons of the five parties categorized as important to hear his statement by the Constitutional Court was not a form of accommodating requests from the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md., but rather an independent attitude taken by constitutional judges.
