Capai 88.5 Percent Of The Target, New Quarter I-2024 Oil Lifting 563,000 Barrels
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif revealed that the Indonesian oil luffing has not yet reached the target.
As of the first quarter, Indonesia's oil lifting has only reached 563,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) or 88.5 percent in the APBN target set at 635,000 BOPD.
"For the record, the achievement of oil and gas lifting in the first quarter of 2024 is 563 thousand barrels or 88.5 percent of the APBN target set for this year of 635,000 BOPD," said Arifin in his remarks at the inauguration of the Deputy Head of SKK Migas, Friday, April 5.
Meanwhile, Indonesia's oil lifting was recorded at 5,075 MMSCFD or 87.7 percent of the APBN target set at 5,784 MMSCFD.
Arifin said, to maintain national oil and gas productivity, it is necessary to pay attention to escorting national strategic projects so that they can provide products optimally and precisely wkatu.
"The setback for project realization will result in the production target being not achieved and causing costs that are not controlled," added Arifin.
Arifin also encouraged SKK Migas to continue to look for breakthroughs so that the work program plan in existing oil and gas fields could be realized properly, as well as encouraging more massive exploration activities for the sustainability of upstream oil and gas operations.
"SKK Migas must also make careful planning so that the findings of reserves in new oil and gas fields can be produced immediately," added Arifin.

In his directive, Arifin emphasized the importance of adaptation and quick steps for newly appointed officials to achieve the targets set in the upstream oil and gas sector.
Arifin hopes that the Deputy Head of SKK Migas can use their technical and managerial capabilities to maintain positive achievements and face challenges with innovative solutions, so that the results achieved can be more optimal.
"I ask SKK Migas to continue to improve upstream oil and gas governance which is more effective and efficient in order to achieve the maximum target," concluded Arifin.
