Annoyed Not Given Cigarette Debt, Unemployed Stalls Using Gasoline
JAKARTA - One young man with the initials IM was desperate to burn a cigarette shop on Jalan Joglo Baru, RT 12/06, Kembangan, West Jakarta. The suspect was desperate to burn the victim's shop because he was offended by not being given a cigarette debt.
Kembangan Police Chief Kompol Billy Gustiano Barman explained that the perpetrator often owed at the shop owned by the victim, and this time he intended to return the cigarette debt. However, said the police chief, the victim was reprimanded by the victim to immediately pay off cigarette debts yesterday.
"The quarrel ensued between the victim and the perpetrator," he said when confirmed, Friday, April 5.
Because of emotions, the perpetrator immediately took a bottle filled with gasoline from the merchandise gasoline shelf, then threw it at the cigarette rack until the bottle broke.
Then, the perpetrator IM burned the tissue that had been prepared from inside his left pocket of his pants using a gas lighter and threw it at the cigarette rack to cause a fire.
"So indeed this has been planned by the perpetrator where if the perpetrator does not get a debt, the tissue has been prepared to be burned in the shop," he said.

After seeing the flames, the victim immediately took his cellphone which was on the shelf, then left the shop.
"The victim suffered burns to his right arm and right calf," he said.
By the time it came out, the fire had grown, while the perpetrator managed to escape. But fortunately, the perpetrator was arrested in less than 1x24 hours in the Ciledug area, Tangerang.
"The perpetrator was about to flee to his relative's house," he said.
The perpetrator was charged with Article 187 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison.
