OJK: BUMN Karya Debt To Himbara Bank Experiences Decrease As Of December 2023
JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) said the debt of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Karya to banks in the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) decreased so that as of December 2023 the remaining Rp78.99 trillion was supported by credit restructuring efforts.The portion of Himbara bank financing for BUMN Karya in December 2023 was recorded at 2.44 percent of the total Himbara bank credit, which fell compared to the position in June 2023 of 2.92 percent. "Nominally, it fell from Rp88.16 trillion to Rp78.99 trillion," said OJK Banking Supervisory Chief Executive Dian Ediana Rae in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, April 5. It said that BUMN Karya continues to improve governance and risk management, business transformation, efficiency, and divestment to assets. Currently, there are positive developments related to the restructuring of BUMN Karya, among others, Wijaya Karya (WIKA) has completed the signing of a restructuring agreement and has been actively working on government projects.
