Examined Investigators Not 'Connected' Whistleblower Ghatan Saleh Turns Out To Be Positive For Drugs

JAKARTA - Muhamad Andika Mowardi, reporter for Ghatan Saleh Hilabi in the shooting case in Jatinegera, tested positive for drugs. Mampang Prapatan Police Chief, Commissioner David Kanito said Andika had a urine test after an examination was carried out by the investigative team.

"Then when we were BAP, the person concerned seemed not connected, we finally did a urine test.. The urine test was positive for Amphetamine and Methametamine," David said when confirmed, Friday, April 5.

David said that until now Andika was still being investigated to find out more about the report that dragged the reporter Ghatan Saleh.

"We are still maximizing it. We will check intensively and develop it continuously," he said

For information, Andika was reported by a man with the initials T on suspicion of threats via cell phone. He was reported on October 18, 2023.

Andika was forcibly picked up by the Mampang Police during the reconstruction of the Ghatan Saleh shooting case in Jatinegara, East Jakarta.
