4 Minister Jokowi Did Not Oath During The 2024 Presidential Election Dispute Session
JAKARTA - Four ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) President Joko Widodo or Jokowi were not sworn in before giving testimony as witnesses in the Dispute on the General Election Results (PHPU) at the Constitutional Court (MK), today. They include Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini. "The presence of the Coordinating Minister and this Minister, why is it not sworn in, there may be such a question," said Constitutional Justice Arief Hidayat in the trial, Friday, April 5. They were not taken oath because they had been sworn in as ministers to carry out their duties during the inauguration at the Palace. So they would remain attached when giving information at the trial. "He was not sworn in because the oath of office that was carried out at the Palace when he was appointed as a minister was attached until when he gave a statement at this trial, "So Mr. Coordinating Minister and Mrs. Minister gave a statement here under oath in court," he continued.
