Russia Hits Ukrainian Troops With ODAB-500 Bomb

JAKARTA - The Russian Ministry of Defense said the crew of the Russian Air Force Su-34 had attacked Ukrainian troops with a bomb-bomb of 500, Sputnik reported on Thursday.

According to the ministry, it is impossible for troops attacked by the ODAB-500 bombing to hide in ditches or excavations.

Russian Air Forces are actively using various types of bombs equipped with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK) in the military special operations zone. The attack was carried out on enemy camps and personnel.

At the same time, the ODAB-500 bomb was equipped with an UMPK that had wings, steering and control systems that turned ordinary bombs into very accurate ammunition.

The ODAB-500 is a vacuum detonation bomb operating in two stages. First, when it is detonated, the bomb will emit an explosive liquid composition that forms an aerosol cloud which then burns in large volumes.

This condition will then create a high temperature explosion with strong shock waves that can flow into trenches, excavations, and other shelters and destroy enemies. Each Su-34 can carry the four bombs.

Video released by the Ministry of Defense showed four ODAB-500s brought down by a bomber on the front lines. A small flash can be seen on ammunition, which is the condition to trigger an explosive device. The video also shows the wings of the universal planning and correction module (UMPK).

The Ministry of Defense said that after the mission was completed, Su-34 crew returned to the airport after receiving confirmation of the destruction of important objects.
