Peugeot Motorcycles Introduces SPx Electric Motor Concept, Inspired By The Old Model

JAKARTA - Peugeot Motorcycles is a separate entity from a French car manufacturer, now the brand has been acquired by a German company, Mutares, and since then its expansion has been quite aggressive.

The brands have continued to be born in various models, such asctions, three-wheeled scooters, to expand into the premium segment with the Maxi XP400 scooter and other models, namely PM01.

Quoting from the Rideapart page, Thursday, April 4, the brand now introduces its newest concept called SPx. Interestingly, this concept reflects on the old peped Peugeot in 1971, namely Peugeot 103.

It is claimed that the SPx concept is a light electric vehicle, overall it looks futuristic, it is further confirmed by a unique front fork and body which has many sharp faults.

However, the company did not disclose what performance and technology were embedded in the SPx concept, but it is expected to take advantage of Peugeot 103's legacy, most likely it will be equivalent to 125cc.

As is known today, many electric motorcycle innovations have a compact form and their performance is also not large, only a few brands do present extraordinary performances with rarely traveled which are also stunning.

As additional information, Peugeot Motorcycles has also been present in Indonesia, by launching an automatic scooter at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024.

The retro-style premium sticker brings an Easy Motion 150 cc one cylinder 4 not, injection, and air conditioning engine. The kitchen is able to emit a maximum of 8.5 kW of energy at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

Seeing the increasing development of environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia, was this concept model when its production debut was also present in Indonesia? Of course it is worth waiting for.
