Ma'ruf Amin: Indonesia Continues To Consistently Make Economic And Financial Policies Syari'ah
JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) KH Ma'ruf Amin said that Indonesia continues to consistently make Islamic economic and financial policies a national development strategy.
"Our challenge is not only to achieve high economic growth, but also to ensure that growth is able to empower all levels of society, to the lowest," said Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, April 4.
Indonesia's role in developing Islamic economics and finance at the global level has received increasingly prominent recognition. This is in the spotlight in the series of activities of the Banten Halal Festival Ramadan: From Banten to the World which was held on Tuesday, April 2 at the Syariah Tower of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, Kosambi, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province.
In his remarks, the Vice President also emphasized the importance of the role of the government and all elements of the nation in ensuring development that has a real impact on the welfare of the community as well as increasing Indonesia's contribution to world development, especially through the Islamic economic and financial sectors.
Previously, the Chairman of the Regional Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KDEKS) of Banten Province, Dr. Hj. Siti Ma'rifah SH., MH., nicknamed Srikandi Syariah Indonesia, highlighted Banten's great potential in the development of the halal industry. He emphasized that the Ramadan Festival "From Banten to the World" is an important first step in advancing the Indonesian halal industry globally.
This festival presents various activities, including Islamic economic seminars, MSME bazaars, and Muslim fashion demonstrations. The Syariah PIK2 Tower is used as a center for national to international sharia-based economic and education-based activities.
Commissioner of the Sharia Tower, Harianto Solichin, emphasized that the synergy of all Indonesian sharia economic stakeholders is very important. Also attending this event were a number of important figures such as PJ. Banten Governor Al Muktabar, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) Nono Sampono, and Tangerang Regent Andi Ony.
One of the highlights of the seminar was the presentation of the designer who received the Indonesian First Lady Award, Amy Atmanto, who discussed the Strategy to Make Indonesia the World Fashion Fashion Center. Atmanto revealed that Indonesia has become the main focus of global search for Muslim mode, with the highest search in the world of 77%.
