D-6 Lebaran, Bakauheni Port Lampung Starts To Be Crowded With Homecomers
Activities at Bakauheni Port, South Lampung, on D-6 Lebaran 2024 began to be crowded with public driving travelers and private vehicles.
There are hundreds of four-wheeled vehicles that crowded the Executive and Regular Pier of Bakauheni Port. Then hundreds of travelers from the four-wheeled vehicle crowded Bakauheni Port to wait for queues to enter the ship's deck.
The four-wheeled vehicle at Bakauheni Port was observed at 12.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB showing conditions that were busy smoothly, dominated by the Sumatran plate. However, several Javanese regional plates such as B, A, and D were also seen.
Although there is a density of four-wheeled vehicles in the parking pockets of executive and regular piers, it does not cause long traffic jams and runs smoothly.
One of the travelers from South Lampung to Bekasi (West Java), Firman, said he chose to go home early to avoid traffic jams at the port.
"Yes, choose to go home early to avoid traffic jams, usually when you start approaching Eid, you get bad traffic jams," he said.
He said the homecoming trip this time was very fun, where the process of traveling from home to the port had no obstacles.
"The journey is quite good, there are no road access that has holes, there are also a lot of police officers guarding, managing traffic," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 4.
