Anticipating The Surge In Homecomers, The Jakut Police Hold Inter-Party Forces
North Jakarta Metro Police anticipate an increase in the number of travelers ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri by increasing coordination between related parties.
"This year's homecoming flow has certainly experienced a significant increase compared to 2023," said Deputy Head of North Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Wiraga Dimas Tama, Wednesday, April 3.
He said that his party had carried out the title of troops, which was a form of checking and readiness as a real commitment to the synergy between the TNI and Polri as well as relevant stakeholders.
The apple was attended by 250 personnel consisting of the TNI, Polri, Dishub, Satpol PP, Damkar and Pokdar Kamtibmas.
"Thank God everyone is given health and strength to gather as well as to see readiness to secure Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri," he said.
According to him, from a survey from the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), this year the movement of homecoming is around 193.6 million people, an increase of 56.4 percent compared to 2023.

He revealed that the community satisfaction index in 2023 reached 89.5 percent, an increase of 15.7 percent compared to 2022.
"People's appreciation for 2023 has increased, so this year we must maintain and increase homecoming security and return this year," he said.
He reminded all ranks and policy makers to remain enthusiastic and maintain health while in their duties.
"Keep the spirit and maintain cohesiveness and always take care of your health while on duty," he said.
