Three Situbondo Police Members Fired For Drug Cases
Situbondo Police, East Java, took firm action against three police officers with dishonorable dismissal or dismissal from the National Police for violating the code of ethics involved in cases of drug abuse and desertion.
The three personnel who were fired from the National Police for committing repeated disciplinary violations were Aipda Nanang Handoko, Bripka Sigit Wahyudi, and Bripka Bagas.
"This dishonorable dismissal is a realization of discipline for the realization of the rule of law. They commit repeated disciplinary acts and abuse of drugs and desertion," said Situbondo Police Chief AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.
The police chief emphasized that the dishonorable dismissal of the three former members was a form of the police's commitment to personnel who violated the discipline and code of ethics of the Police.
AKBP Dwi SR explained that the dishonorable dismissal was carried out through a very long process and very careful consideration.
"Previously there had also been repeated disciplinary warnings, but they were ignored so that PTDH was carried out," said the Police Chief.

He hopes that no more members will commit violations, and make this incident self-introspection and reflection so that they can become better individuals in carrying out their duties professionally and responsibly in accordance with applicable regulations.
"I really hope that there will be no more dishonorable dismissals. Be a good police officer to be loved by the community," said Police Chief Dwi SR to his members.
AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto also advised his three members who were dismissed not with respect so that this incident became a valuable lesson and became capital in living a better life.
"For PTDH, make this a valuable lesson to live a better life," he said.
