Gibran Bans Official Cars From Being Used For Homecoming, ASNs Who Violate Will Be Sanctioned

Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka has banned the use of official cars for Eid homecoming by ASN.

"Just like last year, it is forbidden to go home using official cars," he said in Solo, Central Java, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.

Furthermore, the official car will be grounded in the Surakarta City Hall complex.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Surakarta City Inspectorate, Arif Darmawan, said that the handling was not only for four-wheeled vehicles but also for two-wheeled vehicles.

Regarding supervision, his party asked the public to be involved.

"Supervision in the field involves the community. If you find an official car for homecoming, it can be reported to us," he said.

But reports from the public must be accompanied by clear evidence. He ensured that he had prepared sanctions if any ASN violated the rules.

"If ASN is proven wrong then there will be sanctions," he said.

Regarding the use of official cars during Lebaran momentum, he said, two years ago there was an AD red plate up to Bali.

"Therefore, we urge the public to report if there is a violation of the use of official cars for homecoming. Later the sanctions will be prepared in accordance with the violation," he said.
