PGN Ensures Earth Gas Services Are Safe During Eid Al-Fitr 1445 H
JAKARTA - A week before Eid Al-Fitr 2024, PT PGN Tbk ensured the alertness of services for the 2024 Ramadan and Eid Task Force (RAFI 2024 Task Force).
PGN Sales and Operations Director Ratih Esti Prihatini said, until now, the realization of natural gas distribution in 18 provinces, 74 districts were running safely.
For gas supply, PGN manages around 866 BBTUD. Meanwhile, the gas trading volume is approximately 860 BBTUD distributed to 819,197 Home Connections (SR), 3,108 commercial and industrial and 1,986 small businesses.
"BelG services for transportation are also safe with distribution of 22,133 LSP," he said in a statement to the media, Wednesday, April 3.
Esti added, from the RAFI Gas Subholding Task Force post at IMOC Graha PGAS Jakarta, all infrastructure and natural gas facilities for Gas Subholding were also monitored to be safe.
Now PGN Group owns and manages 32,343 KM gas pipelines, 16 SPBG and 3 LNG Terminals. The 2024 RAFI Task Force involves Subsidiaries and Affiliates, so that operations take place in an integrated manner.

Ratih continued, the disruption management team was also on standby 24 hours to maintain the reliability of gas distribution and handling in the event of an incident. If customers or the public need assistance related to natural gas, they can contact the Call Center at number 135 or the PGN Area Office. PGN strengthens security both internally and externally by involving the TNI and POLRI.
"We are also anticipatory to disruptions in gas supply, namely by utilizing LNG gas at the Lampung FSRU for gas supply to PLN Group. In addition, CNG is used to back up supply if there is a distribution disturbance," said Ratih.

Until now, there have been no cases that have affected the smooth operation of the RAFI 2024 Task Force. However, PGN continues to tighten security and increase vigilance to prevent security incidents that can interfere with or harm the operating environment.
Ratih reminded, especially household jargas customers, to pay attention to security, if they are leaving the house for a long time to go home to their hometowns. Jargas users are advised to close the valve near the meter so that the gas flowing to the house will stop automatically.
Payment of natural gas bills can be made anywhere through e-commerce according to the amount of gas used. Gas bills will appear every 6th, then usage can be paid from six to 20. To monitor the use of gas that will be paid in real time, customers are advised to download the PGN Mobile application.
