KK Mart Apologizes To Malaysia King About Shirts With Allah's Lafaz

KUALA LUMPUR - Retail founder of KK Supermart & Superstore Sdn Bad Chai Kee Kan apologized and apologized to Malaysia's King Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim at the State Palace, Kuala Lumpur, regarding the sale of socks with Kalimah Allah in several of their store networks.

Malaysia's king stressed that all parties, including the KK Mart, should be more careful with the products sold, especially imported goods, to avoid the same case from happening again.

"All parties must be more responsible. Don't'stimulate to bear fruit twice' and I hope this is the last time I need to emphasize this case," Raja Malaysia told the Royal Press Office (RPO) which was uploaded via social media as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.

"Once again, I emphasize that no party should take the opportunity to join this case, including inciting the people. I don't want this case to drag on," said Agong.

The session against the King of Malaysia lasted 15 minutes at the State Palace, Kuala Lumpur.

The issue of Kalimah Allah on socks sold in several KK Mart retail networks in Malaysia emerged after one post on social media went viral on Wednesday (13/3) and provoked the anger of Muslims in Malaysia.

UMNO youth, a youth wing organization from the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) asked the retail network to apologize in two days for the sale of the socks, by posting banners at 881 KK Mart branches in Malaysia.

UMNO Youth Chair Muhamad Akmal warned that they would boycott if the demands were not fulfilled.

At least two KK Mart retail branches on the Malaysian Peninsula have been hit by Molotov cocktails since the issue surfaced.

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has stated that they have opened an investigation regarding the Kalimah 'God' case listed on socks sold at the KK Mart retailer in Malaysia. They also received dozens of reports related to the case from all over Malaysia.
