Call The Food Price In Jambi Market Stable, Jokowi: I Just Haven't Seen The Rice

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo said the price of a number of food commodities in Merangin People's Market, Jambi, was in good condition and stable.

"I see here that it is good, stable, 35 shallots (Rp. 35,000), 40 garlic (Rp. 40,000), the same as in other provinces, only I haven't seen the rice, I'm looking for it," said the President in a statement. which was witnessed online from Jakarta, Wednesday 3 March, confiscated by Antara.

The President also said that the average chili commodity price is in good condition. According to him, prices are relatively good considering that it is now a week before Eid.

In addition to checking food commodity prices, President Jokowi's visit to Jambi also wants to see road infrastructure and regional hospitals.

"We want to check because we want to distribute medical devices to regional hospitals. So the readiness of the room, the readiness of physical buildings in every regional hospital needs to be seen properly," he said.

The President stressed that the government will distribute 514 lab paints, CT scans and others which are large medical devices to regional hospitals, and require adequate electricity and rooms.
