Narcotics Boss At Rajabasa Lampung Prison, Controls Marijuana From Aceh To Java
JAKARTA - Two marijuana syndicates were successfully uncovered by the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in the Aceh region on Tuesday, April 2. Of the two suspects 199 kg of dried marijuana were confiscated. The two suspects are known to have the initials MR and RF.
"The target of selling to Java. Because he was caught so he didn't have time to reach Java," said Deputy for Eradication of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency, Inspector General I Wayan Sugiri to reporters, Tuesday, April 2.
The suspect MR also has capital on this illicit business. MR also manages land in the forest.
"He has capital, the owner of the existing goods (disita). He manages the land there, it's in the forest. We are still looking for the land owner, because it's in the forest," he said.
The two suspects were arrested after the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency received marijuana delivery activities in the Indrapuri area, Aceh Besar.
Furthermore, the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency conducted monitoring and pursuing motorists suspected of being involved in this illegal activity.
"Initially, the driver managed to escape and entered the forest by throwing evidence into the road and leaving his car on the side of the road," he said.
Not long after the work, said I Wayan, his party managed to arrest the suspect with the initials MR at his residence and immediately took him to the scene.

Located at the first crime scene (TKP), BNN RI found six sacks of dried marijuana weighing 132,125.1 gram. Then based on MR's confession, BNN RI immediately carried out developments that led to the discovery of other marijuana storage locations in the same area.
"In this second location, the BNN RI team managed to secure an additional six sacks of wet marijuana, bringing the total evidence that was secured as much as 200,025.1 grams of marijuana," he said.
The case was then developed until the National Narcotics Agency (BNN RI) was able to pocket one other suspect named who was a convict of the Rajabasa Prison with the initials RF with the role of ordering goods and controlling couriers.
In collaboration with Rajabasa Prison, on Tuesday, March 26, the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency immediately picked up a suspected controller for further development. The suspects were charged with Article 114 (2) Jo 132 (1) sub-Article 111 (2) in conjunction with Article 132 (1), Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with the threat of death penalty or life imprisonment.
