Kaka Slank Sings Rod Stewart's Sailing Song For Late Mother-in-law

JAKARTA - Akhadi Wira Satriaji alias Kaka, vocalist of Slank, has just mourned the passing of his mother-in-law who passed away to the Creator in March.

In a video uploaded by his wife, Natascha Oking on his Instagram account, Kaka was seen singing a hit song from Rod Stewart, Sailing, to commemorate the departure of his mother-in-law.

"Kaka Slank presented the song I am Sailing at the Agustinus Halim Church before closing for the late mother-in-law, Marion May Oking's mother during the Requiem Mass, Sunday afternoon March 31, 2024," the video caption read, seen Tuesday, April 2.

Natascha Oking, Kaka's wife also believes that her late mother must be proud of what the Slank vocalist did.

Mama Marion is always excited when it comes to her ex-elect. Yesterday's mother must have smiled and danced in Heaven," wrote Natascha Oking.

For information, Marion May Oking is known to have died on March 12. Meanwhile, the event, which was held on March 31, was intended to commemorate the deceased who had passed away.

In the video, it also narrates how beautiful the difference is. Even though Kaka is Muslim, she still respects her mother-in-law who died and undergoes a Catholic procession.
