Some Samsung Devices Will Get Quarter Security Updates
JAKARTA Samsung has launched a quarter security update system since a few years ago. Although its system has been introduced for a long time, not all devices are supported bypattriwulan. Recently, Samsung re-released the device Security Bulletin for April. In the list shared, it can be seen that some devices will receive the last regular fit. That is, all these devices will not receive any more regular feedback in May. Some of the devices that enter the list are the Galaxy Z Flip, Z Fold 2 Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, S20 FE, and S20 FE 5G reports. Based on the 9to5google report, all these devices have been eligible to receive the quarterly OTA. Meanwhile, some of the devices that will receive the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20+ 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G, Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S20 FE, and Galaxy S20 FE 5G.

The first twelve devices to get a quarter security update will get the last update in April 2025. The reason is, the twelve devices only get a security update of up to 4 years. That way, the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and Galaxy Z Fold 2 will only receive four more security updates. After that, users can decide whether to keep their device or switch to a new device.
