Police Arrest 7 Teenagers In The SOTR Convoy In The Kemayoran Area

The Kemayoran Police Patrol Unit again arrested 7 teenagers in the sahur on the road (SOTR) convoy on Jalan HBR Motik, on the Blossom bridge, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, April 2, early in the morning.

Seven teenagers who were arrested carried flags and firecrackers that were burned during the convoy. From these arrests, items used by teenagers were confiscated during convoys such as motorbikes and flags.

"There are 5 motorbikes that do not comply with standards and are not equipped with STNK or SIM, a ticket will be taken," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed.

The teenagers were arrested when joint personnel from the Central Jakarta Metro Police and the Kemayoran Police carried out large-scale patrols. They were arrested because they were indicated to be going to a brawl.

"With regular patrols, people feel safe and comfortable on trips and at home," he said.

The participants of the convoy also often cause trouble on the streets. So that many people who drive vehicles are afraid when they pass.

"We will carry out routine patrols until before dawn to anticipate preventing brawls and street crimes in the area of Central Jakarta," he said.
