Sandra Dewi's Husband Can Only Be Visited After A Week Of Detention

JAKARTA - Director of Investigation (Dirdik) of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Kuntadi Attorney General's Office said Harvey Moeis, Sandra Dewi's husband who was detained for tin corruption, could only be visited by his family after a week of detention.

"In accordance with the applicable provisions of all of our detainees, for the first seven days an examination must be carried out, after the seventh day it is possible to carry out a suspension," Kuntadi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 1.

The Attorney General's Office named Harvey Moeis as a suspect on Wednesday (27/3), and was detained for the first phase for 20 days at the Salemba Rutan at the South Jakarta District Attorney's branch.

However, said Kuntadi, visits from the suspect's attorney are allowed if there is an examination of Harvey Moeis.

"Unless there is a special examination by legal advisors, access will be given because it is the right of the person concerned," said Kuntadi.

Harvey Moeis was named a suspect along with 15 other suspects, allegedly involved in corruption in the tin trading system in the PT Timah Tbk IUP region which caused state losses due to the damage to the environment around Bangka Belitung worth Rp271 trillion.

Apart from Harvey, Jampidsus investigators also named Helena Lim, KraazyRich PIK. The two famous houses have also been searched by the Indonesian Attorney General's Office investigators.
