KPUPR Allocates IDR 24.97 Trillion To Build Basic IKN Infrastructure In 2023
The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) said that it has allocated a budget of IDR 24.97 trillion for the development of basic infrastructure in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in 2023.
"In 2023, basic infrastructure support for IKN will be allocated IDR 24.97 trillion," said PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono in a Working Meeting with Commission V DPR RI at the Senayan Parliament Building, Jakarta, Monday, April 1.
The details, for the Directorate General of Water Resources amounting to Rp0.98 trillion. "With details for the construction of the Sepaku Semoi Dam, which is now complete and waiting for the full water to be inaugurated, the construction of the Sepaku River, KIPP Embung and Mentawir Dams as well as the main drainage," said Basuki.
Then, the Directorate General of Highways has allocated a budget of Rp. 11.43 trillion. The budget is used for the construction of the IKN Toll Road (Seksi 3A, 3B and 5A), the KIPP Logistics Working Road, Jalan Asum Kebangan Sisi Timur and Sisi Barat as well as the construction of the Sepaku Ring Road.
Next, the construction of the Mentawir Persemaian Access Road, the construction of the Balang Bentang Short Island Bridge, the construction of IKN VVIP Airport and the construction of a logistics dock.

Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Human Settlements has allocated a budget of IDR 8.29 trillion. The budget is used for the arrangement of the national axis I and II, the arrangement of the Tripraja axis, land development area 1A, 1B and 1C from the development of KIPP, construction of the office and presidential palace, the office building of the Coordinating Ministry (1,2,3 and 4), water treatment installations (IPA) along with their networks and wastewater treatment plants (IPAL) along with their networks and integrated waste treatment sites (TPST).
Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Housing has allocated a budget of IDR 4.24 trillion. "Among other things, for the construction of construction workers' residences, landed houses, ministerial positions as well as the residences of ASN, TNI and Polri," he said.
Furthermore, the Directorate General of Construction has allocated a budget of Rp0.03 trillion. "The Directorate General of Construction conducts training and construction workforce certification at IKN, the management of the procurement of goods and services related to the IKN goods/service procurement work unit (UKPBJ)," he added.
