Entering The Fifth Year, Kominfo And Google Indonesia Again Hold Digital Talent Scholarship
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) and Google Indonesia have again announced the opening of registration for the Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) batch 2.
Through this program, Google Indonesia and the Ministry of Communication and Informatics will provide 2,500 scholarships for Google Career Certificates for the general public who want to improve their digital skills.
This program was held to meet the need for digital talent which is still very high, and in 2030 Indonesia is estimated to require 9 million digital talents or around 600 thousand people every year.
"Google Career Certificates that graduates of the DTS program will get can become a bridge to achieve better career opportunities," said Hedi M. Idris, Head of the Center for Professional Development and Certification of BPSDM Kominfo RI quoted Monday, March 31.
The 2024 DTS batch 2 program will later offer four specialties divided into two types of training, namely:
This is the fifth year of cooperation between Kominfo and Google in the development of digital talent in Indonesia. From 2018 to 2023, there were more than 17,000 total certifications that had been distributed through the DTS program, "explained Putri Alam, Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Google Indonesia.

Putri also hopes that the modules and training provided during the DTS program can provide practical knowledge that suits current industrial needs.
The registration limit for FGA training will end on April 18, 2024, while the PROA training will end on April 21, 2024. All batch 2 training will be conducted online starting from May-July 2024 using modules in Indonesian.
