JAKARTA - Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho reminded community organizations (ormas) not to collect illegal and extortion by asking for holiday allowances (THR)
"I appeal and remind, and of course we will take firm action against mass organizations who force THR to ask business actors," said Kombes Zain in his statement, Monday, April 1, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said that the moment of Eid is usually used by a number of certain mass organizations or groups in the community to ask THR for business actors in their area.
Therefore, people in all jurisdictions of the Tangerang City Metro Police are asked not to hesitate and be afraid to report to officers if they are under pressure or intimidation from these irresponsible individuals.
"Please make a complaint to the Tangerang City Metro Police in the telephone number 0822110110 or Call Center 110, if you get information that extortion is carried out by certain mass organizations or groups," he said.
He also ensured and guaranteed to protect, serve and protect the community and hoped that the moment of celebrating Eid al-Fitr would be a event to stay in touch and maintain brotherhood.
