Giring Ganesha Hopes To Perform Reunion With Nidji
JAKARTA - Giring Ganesha is widely said to have returned to the music world after uploading a photo of himself singing on Instagram. Some netizens even think that the upload signifies his reunion with Nidji.
The man who is now more active in the political world admits that he is ready to reunite with the band he has left since 2017. However, he left the decision to Nidji personnel.
"Reunion? If they want a reunion, come on, but don't know if they want it or not. I just want to," said Giring Ganesha at BSD, Tangerang, Saturday, March 30.
Giring is also not a problem if he has to be on the same stage with Ubay. Instead, he praised the singer who replaced his position as Nidji's vocalist.
"There's already Ubay, a new vocalist, even cooler. If the reunion is cool, the vocalists are two," he said with a laugh.
However, Giring admitted that there has been no serious discussion about the current reunion with Nidji personnel.
Although he hopes to return to the same stage with Nidji, it does not mean that Giring wants to return to being a permanent vocalist. He said he was preparing himself for solo careers.
