There Is No Increase In Non-Subsidized Fuel Prices, Pertamina Makes Sure It Is Still Competitive
JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga determined that in April there would be no change in the selling price of non-subsidized fuel or also known as the type of general fuel (JBU).
The types of fuel are Pertamax series consisting of Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo and Dex Series consisting of Dexlite and Pertamina Dex.
Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting said the decision not to make price changes refers to several aspects, including the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 regarding the JBU or BBM price formulation.
"The adjustment of non-subsidized fuel prices is the result of an evaluation by all business entities in accordance with applicable price formula regulations. Based on the calculation of price evaluation and taking into account the public's needs in Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, the management decided not to raise prices in April," explained Irto, Monday, April 1.
Furthermore, Irto detailed, currently the price of Pertamax is IDR 12,950 per liter, Pertamax Green 95 IDR 13,900 per liter, Pertamax Turbo IDR 14,400 per liter, Dexlite IDR 14,550 per liter, and Pertamina Dex IDR 15,100 per liter.
"This price applies to the Java region and the area with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent," added Irto.
