Bandung City Transportation Agency Calls 561 Bus Fleet Serves 2024 Eid Homecoming Flow
Head of the Bandung City Transportation Service (Kadishub) Asep Kuswara said as many as 561 bus fleets with 16 routers were ready to serve homecoming in this area on Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri.
"With details of 248 inter-City Inter-Provincial (AKAP) vehicles serving eight routes, as well as 313 Intercity In-Provincial (AKDP) will serve eight routes," Asep said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, March 31.
Asep said, to reduce the number of accidents during the Lebaran homecoming, his party will hold safety inspections or ramp checks at Leuwipanjang Terminal and Cicaheum Terminal on April 3-18, 2024.
He added that the Bandung City Transportation Agency will also carry out a pick-up system in conducting ramp checks at the Lebaran Transport bus pool from March 27 to April 2, 2024.
"The Lebaran transport vehicle must meet the roadworthiness and roadworthiness aspects. Roadworthy means that the vehicle is suitable for carrying passengers. It means that the documents and administrative aspects of the vehicle are also suitable for carrying passengers," he said again.
According to Asep, in the early stages of safety inspections, so far Lebaran transport vehicles in the city of Bandung still meet these two aspects of feasibility.
He ensured that this process would continue to run in order to provide a sense of security and comfort for travelers.

He stated that there are four factors that can cause prominent accidents in Eid transportation, including aspects of vehicles, drivers, roads, and weather.
"Don't let accidents stand out. No matter how small there are factors of road and operational inequality, we will not pass it," he also said.
Therefore, he appealed to people who will return to their hometowns this year to ensure that their vehicles are roadworthy and operational in order to anticipate things that are not desirable.
