Reporting from ANTARA, Saturday, March 30, the Head of BMKG Dwikorita Karnawati warned that the potential for extreme weather could occur, which could lead to an increase in disasters in most areas due to the intervention of three tropical cyclone seeds at once. Three tropical cyclone seeds, namely Tropical Cyclone Seeds 91S, 94S, and 93P, were monitored around the Indian Ocean south of Java, the Timor Sea, and the Australian Sea which showed an influence on increasing rain in the southern part of Indonesia. He reminded land, sea and air transportation service providers to anticipate the potential for extreme weather that took place during the Eid homecoming. "We urge all travelers, transportation service providers, and transportation operators to be aware of the possibility of extreme weather during the homecoming flow," he said.
