The Launch Of A Friendly Club, Menpora Hopes That Habibie-Habibie's New Birth
JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo or Dito, launched the Club program to Meet Cendekiawan (Friends) on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at The Habibie & Ainun Library, Jakarta.
Menpora hopes that the presence of a friendly club will produce scholars, such as the Third President of Indonesia, BJ Habibie.
"Why did I choose The Habibie & Ainun Library for the launch site of the Friendly Club? The Ministry of Youth and Sports hopes that this program can give birth to new Habibie-Habibie who will play an important role for Indonesia's future," said Menpora Dito.

Dito further explained that the Friendly Club is a forum for young scholars and creative minorities. This place is expected to produce new ideas from the younger generation.
"Through the Friendly Club program, we provide forums for young scholars, creative minorities to debate the idea of giving birth to cool concepts that can benefit the community," he said.
Dito emphasized his commitment to provide the widest possible space for youth. He hopes that youth can contribute a lot to Indonesia.
"Representing the Ministry of Youth and Sports, I am ready to commit to guarding and giving broad space to all young Indonesian scholars to contribute in various national strategic sectors," said Dito.
Menpora is optimistic about the Friendly Club program. He envisions young scholars in Indonesia being able to speak at the national level.
"I imagine that through this program we can create a new period of enlightenment in Indonesia, where young scholars are able to strengthen our national, state and Indonesian pillars," he said.
Finally, Dito mentioned that Indonesia's independence history is the history of the movement of scholars.
"Starting from Tjokroaminoto, Soekarno, Hatta, Sjahrir, Tan Malaka, Natsir, and other national figures. They have different views, often argue, but have the same dreams for Indonesia Raya," he said.
Meanwhile, apart from Menpora Dito, several figures and resource persons attended the discussion. Call it the initiator of the Syarif Maulana Isolation Class, Presidential Special Staff Angkie Yudistira, Chairman of the National ICT Council Ilham Habibie and Presidential Special Staff Billy Mambrasar.
