Result Sharing Program On YouTube Shorts Claims To Be Successful Because Of The Spirit Of Creators
JAKARTA YouTube stated that Shorts presents new opportunities for content creators who want to make money. The reason is, this feature continues to grow and the number of views continues to increase.
Since its launch in 2021, the daily broadcast rate for the Shorts feature has reached 70 billion. This figure can certainly benefit content creators so that YouTube launched the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) last year.
After a year of running, YouTube said that the YPP program on Shorts was quite successful. According to YouTube, this program was successful because many creators consistently use Shorts and many creators have just joined.
"We are starting to see the enthusiasm of the creators paid off. Since introducing profit sharing at Shorts last year, more than 25 percent of the channels on YPP have now earned income through this revenue stream," YouTube said in its official blog.
Apart from YPP, Shorts also has other monetization programs such as long-term advertising, BrandConnect, and others. Just like YPP, these various programs also provide sufficient income for content creators who take advantage of Shorts.
