Bank DKI Wins Indonesia Best 50 CEO Award 2024

JAKARTA - Bank DKI has again won appreciation from an independent institution, this time from the media The Iconomics as Indonesia Best 50 CEO in the Regional Bank Category, which was handed over directly to the 5th Anniversary Indonesia Best CEO Awards 2024, which was held in Jakarta on Thursday, March 21.

The Indonesia Best 50 CEO Awards 2023 is a form of appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and leaders of government/public institutions selected by panelists and The Iconomics from various sectors, both BUMN, BUMD, national and international private. The assessment was carried out through research with several criteria, including (1) Popularity, (2) Competency, (3) Personality, and (4) Crisis Leadership. Research was conducted on 10,000 respondents and CEOs who won awards were the highest score winners in each industry or at least met a score of 3.00 from a scale of 4.00.

Founder & CEO of The Iconomics, Bram S Putro at the time of opening the awards ceremony said that Indonesia Best 50 CEO of 2024 (Employes Choice) was a series of events from the Indonesia Popular CEO, and Indonesia Public Leader 2024.

Sustainable Growth Through Digitalization

Bank DKI continues to initiate the development and innovation of digital-based products and services for the expansion of accessibility, including the development of JakOne Mobile, JakCard card-based electronic payments, MSME support with JakOne Abank agency systems, including various collaborative efforts, such as integrated payment electronification on transportation modes, DKI Provincial Government managed tourist attractions, digitizing the payment of the Perumda Pasar Jaya management market, to various digital collaborations with BPD, BUMD and other entities.

The number of users of the JakOne Mobile mobile banking application of Bank DKI for the period of the fourth quarter of 2023 reached 2.23 million people, grew 12.11 percent (YoY) compared to the same period in the fourth quarter of 2022, with a transaction volume of 29.62 million transactions and a nominal transaction of IDR 30.63 trillion.

The number of users of the JakOne Abank application, which is an agency system banking service using Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) devices in the fourth quarter of 2023 reached 4.99 thousand agents, grew 170.42 percent (YoY) compared to the Q4 2022 period, with a transaction volume of 3.18 million transactions and a nominal transaction of Rp1.72 trillion.

Meanwhile, JakOne Merchant users who provide payment services in real time using QRIS in the fourth quarter of 2023 reached 31.47 thousand merchants, grew 101.39 percent (YoY) compared to the same period the previous year, with transaction volumes of 3.25 million transactions and nominal transactions reaching Rp533.55 billion.

Most recently at the end of 2023, Bank DKI introduced the Jakarta Tourist Pass which is a digital solution based on electronic cards (JakCard Bank DKI) and an application (JakOne Pay Bank DKI) that can be used to make it easier for tourists to access tourism services in Jakarta. JakOne Mobile Jakarte Jakarta Tourist Pass has a number of features, namely Maps which presents a list of tourist destination locations, Event features that are used as a location reference source, time and ticket prices for tourist destinations in Jakarta, payment features by scanning to pay methods, balance updates, to Top Up JakCard.

Meanwhile, the need for integrated transportation electronic tickets in Jakarta such as KRL Commuter Line, Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, Jakarta LRT, to Jabodebek LRT, can be accessed by JakCard Bank DKI. In line with that, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that Bank DKI continues to be committed to providing the best and innovative service for the convenience of transactions, as well as supporting synergies with various parties in realizing Jakarta as a Global City.
