The Ganjar-Mahfud camp has not yet decided whether or not to present a regional police chief to testify in the trial of the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) at the Constitutional Court (MK).

"We still have time to decide whether to ask the chairman of the Assembly to consider the presence of the Kapolda," said the head of the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis, to reporters, Thursday, March 28.

In addition, for now, his party is prioritizing presenting two cabinet ministers of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi. This is because their testimony is considered to be able to shed light on the 2024 Presidential Election dispute (Pilpres).

"The most important thing is the presence of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Social Affairs to provide his statement at the Constitutional Court," he said.

If the two ministers give testimony, it is possible that their information regarding the procurement and distribution of social assistance (bansos).

Because, during the 2024 presidential election campaign, there was an issue of social assistance politicization aimed at winning certain presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs.

Apart from that, Todung stated that his party would bring 8 experts to trial. Some of them are state and economic experts.

"We have many experts that we will propose, I can leak the number, there are eight experts, there are constitutional experts, there are political psychology experts, political sociology, political communication, there is an economy too, the agricultural economy that knows about social assistance and also IT experts," said Tudong.
