Google Develops Tab Sorting Feature For Android Version Chrome
JAKARTA - Some users who are active using Google Chrome for work or education purposes must have opened up too many metabs. Sometimes, overabundances can confuse you. You may not know anymore what to delete because the wholeTAB only displays the first few letters. Google seems to be aware of this problem so they create a declutter feature or sorting. Quoted from 9to5google, this sorting feature is seen in the latest Chromium changes as anandroid-tab-declutter. This code shows that the sorting feature being worked on will be added as a Tabdi Chrome version of Android. Like other new Chrome features, this sorting feature will be locked behind the option at chrome://flags. However, it is already visible in the code that this feature will, "activate automatic filing and removal of inactive tabs." Actually, Google had launched features with the same purpose in 2020. This feature was created to recommend a specific taper, especially those that have not been opened for a long time, closed. This feature only works on Android devices.

This feature, created about four years ago, only offers suggestions so that its performance is still less effective. Therefore, Google is developing a new way to get rid of inactive tabs in an easy way. The sorting feature must be activated first in order to work. When it is active, you don't have to bother closing it because this feature will work automatically. Even though it's deleted, users can still see the full list that was opened before. This feature is still in process and it looks like it won't appear until Chrome 125. There is also the possibility that this feature won't be launched at all because Google has canceled rolling out the features they're developing several times.
